Giveaway- Starts at Midnight Est. Time on Wednesday, December 7th, ends on Wednesday, December 14th

Synopsis: Rumors are surging through Appernysia that a Beholder has been born, the first wielder of True Sight in over a millennium.

Seventeen-year-old Lon Marcs discovers he has been blessed—or cursed—with this gift. He cannot control the power of True Sight and feels it killing him with each passing day. After months of desperate attempts to survive, Lon’s situation becomes more hopeless. He realizes that the only people who might possess the knowledge to save his life are the sworn enemies of his king. To obtain their help, Lon would have to leave behind his family and beloved Kaylen.

Although this is the hardest decision Lon has ever made, it is only the first of many that will test his strength and challenge his interpretation of right and wrong.

It's That Time Of Year Again

The Blue Santa Note was from my older sister I just found last year
In the beginning
Around this time last year, I was making a tree using strips of construction paper that I colored green (didn't have green lol) and taped along the outline I drew on the wall. For the trunk I used a piece of cardboard ( just cuz it was the right color and size )  My younger sister was staying with me for a week so she helped too :) I can't remember what it was that made me think to use cotton balls as the snowy christmas skirt, but I did. I unrolled each one and taped it up there too.
Then we put little picture nails in the wall and strung white ribbon on the "tree". To fill the inside with fur, we cut green tissue paper into squares, pinched the center, stuck a piece of tape on it and voila!
Now for the rest of the decorations; making a linked chain is always fun, and the kids had a blast cutting paper into the shape of bulbs then decorating with glitter and such. My sister made the angel tree topper, it looked pretty awesome. My hubby got in on the action and placed candy canes on the white ribbon. Oh and snowflakes! ha Those were cut out of used wrapping paper :) It may have not been your traditional Christmas Tree, but it worked and was a lot of fun to make.
Today we got a 6ft faux tree (is that the correct spelling? computer's saying it isn't a word) and set it up while listening to christmas songs on the radio. It's not decorated yet and looks a little sad so maybe I'll get a picture after it's fully dressed (only has a skirt).
I entered 2 more giveaways today. One for a $150 Gift Card to Walmart, Target or Amazon. The other for an IPad2. I must've entered close to 10 giveaways for an IPad. I hope I win one! I know it's a small chance but it's not for me.  My niece has 22q,is autistic and uses one at her OT sessions. I hear the apps are awesome and are a great way, for kids who can't talk, to communicate. I would love to give one to her for Christmas. Here's the link if you're interested. IPad2 giveaway and goodluck :)
Also, if you want to enter the GC giveaway you can find it on her home page from that link.

Taken by: Angel J. Miranda
Whew! It's only 7:30am and I'm ready for a nap. That's what I get for staying up all night on Facebook. Well, not the entire night. I did spend a good amount of time trying to get this page up and running. I'm new to this whole Blogging thing.
I've spent the last week entering several sweepstakes and giveaways. Now I have more "liked" pages on my 'other interests' and have "followed" more Tweeters than I ever have before. It's hard to even keep up with my newsfeeds anymore! Is the word 'Tweeters' even accurate? Should I say, Twitter-ers? I dunno.
Oh, I shouldn't forget the free samples. My cousin got me hooked on ordering free samples. That's actually how the whole sweeps thing started. It's addicting, I tell ya. Kinda neat getting free stuff in the mail that isn't spam in the form of paper. Although, now I have more spam in my email... :/ hm
Ok, my kids are wide awake and ready to get into stuff but before I go I just want to tell ya about the picture here. That was taken last year at the Sanford Zoo here in FL. My hubby and I took the kids there for Halloween before going trick-or-treating. I thought it was funny that they looked as if they were posed for the camera ;) I have another of a kangaroo in a human-like pose. I think I'll share it later though.

Happy  Saturday Morning Everybody!
